| Course

Five faults will be incurred for

away from the table before the 5 seconds are up, and each time the
handler infringes on an exclusion zone. |
| Time
Faults |
One time fault will be incurred
for each second, or part of a second, that the handler and dog exceed
the Standard Course Time. The SCT is set by dividing the course length
by the rate of travel and adding five seconds for the table pause.
The rate of travel is determined by the judge. |
| Placings |
When using only one round then the
dog with the least faults in the first round will win; if total faults
are equal, then the dog with the least course faults will win, if
still equal, then the fastest dog will win. |
| Second
Round |
If two rounds are being used, then
after the first round the dogs are ranked according to faults and
time. Only half the number of dogs that have competed in the first
round are allowed to continue into the second round, these will be
the top half of the rankings. The same rules from the first round
apply in the second round. The dog with the least faults in the second
round will win; if total faults are equal, then the dog with the least
course faults will win, if still equal, then the fastest dog will
win. |
