Sunday at Grafton
Billy was on before me today. He didn't really feel like doing agility- it was hot and he was tired and a bit stiff and sore, so he cleared the broad looked at the A-Frame and decided to go round. Mum took him back and he went over it but took the rest of the course pretty steady for a few timefaults as well as the jumping penalty. His day was over. Then it was my turn. No problems, I steamed around the course, got out after the A-Frame for the spread, took the turned nicely for the dog walk, flew along, dropped on my contact, side change for the weavers, flew through them, nice turn onto the tyre, steady for the table. Then weeee through the tunnel and then I overran the first of the triple and got a refusal. There goes another quali. Mum said she learns something new about the way she needs to handle me each course we run. In some ways this was like yesterday, not sharp enough on the turn, so Mum says we'll practice a wrap command for tight hairbends. In the second round I flew around and Mum changed sides at the tunnel so that I didn't run wide. We ran clear and got the fastest time. Our second win for the weekend, which was nice, but no quali's this time.... Below are some photos of me from the weekend and Sunday's novice course. I like Grafton- Clarence put on a good weekend!
